Live Music Charlestown Harbour

The Lemonaires – Live on the harbour

Celebrating the re-opening of the harbour this month and the long Easter weekend, enjoy live singing by The Lemonaires this Easter Sunday afternoon (20th April) – a Cornish a cappella group based near Falmouth. They will be singing on the knuckle of the inner harbour from 3pm – 5pm. This event is free of charge.

The Lemonaires are a passionate and powerful male vocal group based in Mylor Bridge, Falmouth. Specialising in traditional Cornish folk and shanties, their rich harmonies and heartfelt delivery bring Cornwall’s heritage vividly to life.

Now in their 19th year, The Lemonaires are the real deal, delivering high-energy performances on any stage. Rapidly gaining recognition in the shanty world, they are among the most respected and authentic groups on the circuit. Some members have been singing in public for over 50 years, contributing to an incredible, time-honed sound.

The group is excited to bring their voices to the quay at Charlestown on Easter Sunday and share the music they love.

Newly-opened outdoor bar, Smugglers on the Harbour, will be open providing plenty of outdoor seating and fully stocked with draught beer, wine, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks. Around the harbour are further pop-up shops, bars and eateries to enjoy, including the popular Charlestown Fish Co serving fish & chips, moules and more, The Deck eatery, newly opened Scuttlebutt Tavern, Cornish Cream and a range of gift and art shops.

This event marks the first of our live music sessions this season, with the next planned for Sunday 25th May. Stay tuned for updates on the rest of the season’s music scheduled – to be revealed soon.
