Pen Glas: Fishing Vessel Restoration & Conversion

Fishing vessel ‘Pen Glas’ was launched in 1960 with masts and sails, but has spent most of her fishing career as an engine driven trawler. Her new owner, the renowned Skipper and maritime artist Toni Knights, has begun a multi-year project to transform her back to her original sailing rig.

Once the project is complete, Toni will be taking Pen Glas to sea once more, fishing under sail and running low-emission cargo from all over Europe.

You can step aboard Pen Glas during Summer months, when Charlestown pop up restaurant HarbourQ takes over her decks for use as seating for customers. Enjoy a delicious meal right on the water!
