Charlestown Harbour’s reputation as both a Georgian working port and as marine coordinators to the film and television industry remains consummate.

The Harbour Team can give expert advice on marine history and can design and create the rig for any vessel.

The Team can offer advice on all manner of traditional sailing skills, including ropework such as the sweating and tailing of lines, coiling down as well as more advance skills such as splicing.

Most recently, the Harbour Team not only designed and built the rig for the ‘Demeter’ in BBC One’s Dracula, but they also provided additional marine props and worked on set with the production crew in Bray Studios for the duration of the shoot, to advise on period maritime etiquette and traditional sailing skills.
